Day 1: Meal Basis Dinner in Soweto

On arrival you will have a transfer to your hotel, where you will spend two nights at your
hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.You will meet your guide at the hotel reception at approximately 15:00 for your Soweto By Night Tour.

Thousands of visitors flock to Soweto to discover something of this miracle. Grab this opportunity to visit this amazing city, home to millions of South Africans. During our tour of the neighbourhood we will see ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’ of Soweto. You will see mansions and shacks, churches and traditional healers, spaza shops and shopping malls.

Soweto-By-Night: 16:00- 21:00

Programme:
Have a drink in a ‘shebeen’, a local tavern where the locals hang out. Drink your beer from a bottle
and sit on boxes enjoying the pumping music. Sumptuous township dinner in one of the many
excellent restaurants in Soweto.


Day 2 Meal Basis: Breakfast at Hotel, Dinner at Lesedi

Today you have a Full Day Tour of the Cradle of Humankind and Lesedi Cultural Village Tour.
You will meet your guide at the hotel reception at approximately 08:00 for your tour.

jhb townIf you want to know how humans developed, visit the Cradle of Humankind area for a grippingexperience. This World Heritage site is one of the richest fossil-sites in the world. Remains of thepast were dug up, pieced together and studied by scientists to rewrite the ancient history ofhumankind.

At the Sterkfontein Caves the oldest, most complete human skeleton was discovered, and we can view the excavation site where things are still happening. Close by is Maropeng, built in the form of a huge,
ancient burial mound (the Tumulus). It is an underground exhibition space that brings the history of humankind come to life by way of exciting activities that are entertaining, educational and interactive.

If you want to learn more about the original inhabitants of South Africa in a short time, you have to
visit Lesedi Cultural Village. It offers a permanent interactive live exhibition of the major South African
indigenous tribes.

Maropeng:
Go on an underground boat ride through the elements of the world and partake in the interactive
display.

Sterkfontein Caves:
Underground guided tour of the caves and its silent lake.Visit the excavation site.

Lesedi Cultural Village:
Meet the different tribes of South Africa: the fierce Zulus, colourful Ndebeles and pipe-smoking
Xhosas. Learn more about the fascinating traditions at their respective households.
Enjoy a vibrant dance show where African drumbeats will reverberate in your heart and end the show
with dinner in the form of an exquisite African feast.


Day 3 Meal Basis: None

Today you have a Half Day Pretoria City Tour. You will meet your guide at the hotel
reception at approximately 08:00 for your tour. After the tour you will be transferred to the
airport for your departure flight.

At the colossal Voortrekker Monument the movement of the white pioneers into the interior of the
country is portrayed.The Freedom Park is witness to the turbulent history of South Africa’s people finding freedom and peace in their beloved country.

Many different population groups shape the unique character of the city and the surrounding
neighbourhoods.

Tour Programme:
Union Buildings, seat of government.Marabastad: drive through this bustling multi-cultural neighbourhood and admire the beautiful Mirianmen temple.Church Square with its historical buildings and solemn statue of Pres Paul Kruger.

Voortrekker Monument: within this imposing building the friezes portray the history of the white
pioneers during the Great Trek into the interior of the country.
